SUMMARY OF POST 295’s NOV. COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES
In November 50 people volunteered 167.5 hours traveling 485 miles at their own expense. Total donations including cash and in-kind donations totaled $2669.32

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
*We posted colors at the Kapsia Elementary’ s Veteran’s Day program. *We hosted our Annual Vet’s Day toast at the SSP Moose Lodge. *We posted colors at the IGH Good Samaritan NH Veteran’s tribute. *The SSP City Council issued a proclamation honor our cities Veterans. *Donated $1000 family of SSP who at Age 45 died of a terminal illness. *In November the Post & Auxiliary donated 4 pints of blood
CHILDREN AND YOUTH
*The post and Auxiliary donated $550 from Post funds to the IGH Youth Hockey Association *Elizabeth Link a JR @ Visitation High School was chosen as chosen as this year’s VOD winner. She received $150, a plaque and certificate. She also won the District competition and sis a finalist at the state level
VETERANS
During November 11 Post and Auxiliary members spent 74 hours and traveled 238 miles to put on events for the veterans at the Hastings MN Veterans Home. The Auxiliary on behalf of the Post and Auxiliary signed and distributed a total of 350 Christmas Card to residents of Hastings and Minneapolis MN Veterans Home. The total Cost of these Activities was $150. which was picked up by the post.
